    Upgrade Details:

We will upgrade the protocol Agave to version 4.0.0, as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance performance, security, and reliability.

    What to expect:

    Critical Changes:

    • QUIC-only transaction ingestion: UDP support removed - all transaction processing now uses QUIC protocol

    • Legacy format removal: Old blockstore column formats (PerfSampleV1, TransactionStatus, SlotMetaV1, IndexV1) no longer supported

    RPC Behavior Changes:

    • getSignaturesForAddress now returns error code -32020 instead of empty array when signatures not found

    • Signature verification failures in simulateTransaction() now appear as TransactionError::SignatureFailure on result instead of JSON-RPC error

For more detailed technical information about this release, you can view the official Agave v4.0.0 release notes on GitHub.

No action is required on your end, our team will handle the upgrade seamlessly

We will be closely monitoring the process to ensure a smooth transition and will provide updates as needed. Thank you for your patience and support!
